Power off while updating pc
The part of the heatsink which covers the graphics chip might have thermal pad on it instead of regular thermal paste. I usually use Shin-Etsu paste which is relatively cheap and performs well. After applying new paste, install the cooling module back in place.
Otherwise, the issue could be a power balance issue, riser problem, loose cabling, bad power socket, bad PSU, etc.Do not forget to connect the fan cable to the motherboard! In some laptops the cooling module is buried deep inside the case and cannot be easily accessed and removed. In order to remove it you’ll have to disassemble the whole laptop but it’s only for experienced users. Have you ever wondered how to turn off an i Phone or i Pad? While most users keep their i OS devices turned on all the time, sometimes users may need to power down a device completely, be it for storage, shipping, to preserve battery life, or whatever other reason. Some laptops give you an easy access to the heatsink and fan.
In laptops like that you can access the cooling module through the bottom cover. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to remove the fan and access the heatsink.
Remove the motherboard from power and disconnect it from your rig. After that, plug the CMOS battery back in and follow these guides: Booting a Rig without a Power Button and Initial Setup.
If the issue is unresolved, proceed with the below guides: IF YOU SUSPECT THAT YOUR MOTHERBOARD IS FAULTY, DO NOT SWAP IN OTHER COMPONENTS INTO THE NON-WORKING RIG IN THE HOPES THAT IT WILL WORK, SWAP YOUR MOTHERBOARD INTO ANOTHER WORKING RIG!

The latest versions of i OS offer a nice software feature that allows users to easily shut down an i Phone or i Pad entirely through system menu options, without having to use the power button or any other physical buttons on the device at all.
